Please be sure to let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs.

Parking is available at nearby parking garages, around the corner from our first tasting stop. You will be given instructions on how to get back to the starting point.

Yes. For our lunch tour. If you bring an infant or young child (5 years and under), and they will not be eating, you do NOT have to purchase a ticket. We do offer Child Tickets if they plan to do the tastings. Please let us know if you will be attending with an infant or young child who is NOT eating when you purchase tickets in the notes section.

Absolutely not! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture, and culinary insight into a unique three-hour experience. Imagine walking through Charlottesville downtown mall and nearby neighborhood eating our local artisans’ most mouthwatering tastings.

To maximize your chances of getting the day, time, and the number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard from our website or by calling 1 (434) 589-5558. Cash and walk-up traffic the day of the tours are not accepted.

We do not provide a waiting list. If a date and time are sold out, there is always a good chance that we will add you on for that tour. Please email us to let us know what date you are interested in if you do not see availability.

Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%.

Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at selected food-tasting locations.

The tours are held rain, shine, or snow. In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour. However, we advise to check the weather conditions for the day of your tour and dress appropriately.

All lunch locations are wheelchair accessible in good weather (except for one location if the weather is bad).
On the Evening Tour, two of our tastings are not handicap accessible. Stairs are included.

At this time, we do not offer tours in any other languages except English.

We absolutely do! We can accommodate a variety of special requests (corporate events, family reunions, birthday parties, out-of-town guests, and more).

You should bring with you a camera and a small bottle of water. When it’s really hot out, we recommend an application of sunscreen on exposed parts of the body and a lightweight pair of sunglasses. During the cooler seasons, it’s important to wear an extra layer of clothing and consider bringing gloves and a scarf as Charlottesville can have cold weather. Please dress for the weather conditions at the time of your tour.
For the lunch tour, there is one tasting of a local hard cider. Our evening tour we have paired drinks for each tasting. We have non-alcoholic cocktails available. Please bring your ID.

Due to the various food establishments we visit, pets of any kind are not allowed on the tour. Accommodations for service dogs will be made. However, please do let us know if you will be attending with a service dog and any accompanying limitation when you purchase tickets in the notes section. Contact us!
